Fulbourn

The Fulbourn Parish Council consists of fifteen members who were elected in May 2006 for four years.

The full council meet the second Wednesday of the month (except August) in The Fulbourn Centre at 7.45pm, with committee meetings more frequently. Notification of meetings plus agenda can always be found on the parish notice boards, at least three days prior to a meeting.

Any parishioner may have items considered at meetings, this is best done through the Clerk, in writing, or for more urgent issues the Chair and Vice-Chair are happy to be contacted.

Although members of the Public are not permitted to speak during the meetings, time is always made available prior to the start of a meeting.

The Council Office is open to the public on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9.30 am to 12 noon. Planning applications etc. can be viewed by appointment.

The Parish Council is responsible for burial and recreation grounds, pavilion, bus shelters, litter bins, roadside seats, roadside verge maintenance and grass cutting.

It also records, and in conjunction with the Funeral Directors, arranges grave digging and disposal of ashes.
