Fulbourn Forum for Community Action

Fulbourn Forum is a new organisation with a focus on community action, working in partnership with the Parish Council and other village organisations.

Fulbourn Forum Interests

  • Promoting sustainability and community support
  • Protecting the natural environment
  • Village conservation
  • Future development in the village

Planned Activities

In partnership with other organisations we plan:

  • Litter picks
  • Support for home growing of food
  • To raise awareness on energy saving
  • Talks and film shows on sustainability and other topics of interest
  • Support for our wonderful local shops
  • The development of a community orchard

Future Activities

  • Surveys of the natural environment
  • Working parties and guided walks
  • The development of our own web site

Although Fulbourn Forum is led by a committee, the focus is on action groups with the am of encouraging people who would like to contribute to the well being of the village and co-ordinating community aspects.

So we need enthusiastic people to get involved as active supporters. By giving some time and working together, we can make a real difference and improve the experience of living in Fulbourn.
