On April 24 th the Steering Committee held a party to launch the working groups. This gave everybody who had volunteered or been coerced, a chance to meet together, in a relaxed and informal environment, before starting the hard task ahead of them.

Everyone was given an information pack and a broad view of what was required. These working groups, eight in all, will, over the next few months, cover all the topics in the questionnaire and all the comments made in the back of the questionnaire, so you can be assured that whatever you said, it will be taken into consideration.

We anticipate that the various working groups will have completed their tasks by the end of September and have come up with action plans to carry forward. As soon as possible after that, it is planned to hold a public exhibition and everyone will have a chance to see what has been going on, then.

The final stage will involve producing an action plan for the Parish Council to approve, and also a full report which, like the questionnaire, will be delivered to every house in the parish.
