Shelford Road – Closure from 11/09/2023

Local highway improvement works are due to start on Shelford Road, Fulbourn from the 11/09/23 for 1 week (Day works between 08:00 – 17:00). The works will take place between the roundabout with Cambridge Road and Huntsmill and involve the installation of speed cushions.

During this time, the road will be closed to enable the works to take place safely. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses as required, but there will be no access for any through traffic. Due to the nature of the works, any request to enter the worksite may come with some delays whilst we stop works and make the site safe for passage. Based on where we are working at the same, you may also be asked to enter from the other side of the closure.

The diversion route will be posted on the network and the diversion route is as follows:

Worts Causeway, Cambridge – Limekiln Road – Queen Ediths Way – Fulbourn Road – Cambridge Road, Fulbourn and vice versa
