In 2019, we announced our intention to relocate our Aerospace business as part of our commitment to invest in the long-term future of the company. The relocation of Marshall Aerospace will make the land at Cambridge Airport available for redevelopment to further build on Cambridge’s incredible success as a centre for world leading academia, research, technology and life sciences.
We have now put the Cambridge Airport land forward for inclusion in the Greater Cambridge Local Plan and, although we are at a very early stage of considering what any future development might contain, we would like to start working alongside the people of Cambridge to discuss how create an extraordinary new place providing world-class education, employment and housing opportunities.
To start this conversation, and before we start developing any proposals for the site, we are hosting a series of Public Engagement events where we hope to hear what the public believe is important to the site. With that in mind, we would be grateful if you could share the details of the events through your network to ensure we capture as many voices as possible.
