Fulbourn Community Aid
As more and more of us are isolated at home, we need to be doing everything we can to look after each other and make sure those isolated are supplied with essentials (food and medicines) and supported with phone calls and encouragement.
Of course, we are all hoping to do this for our neighbours, particularly those in our own road, looking out especially for those over 70 and those with underlying health conditions. But there may be situations when we need help that your neighbours cannot provide, or need more support of other kinds.
Fulbourn Community Aid is a broad group of volunteers aiming to facilitate mutual aid, helping us all to help each other. It is working with residents, churches, the parish council, and whoever else can help. It is currently based in Twelve.
If you want to offer support to others beyond your immediate neighbours – helping to coordinate, or offering your time/practical help – you can find ‘Fulbourn Community Aid’ on Facebook, or email with your name, phone number and road name, you will then be connected with those who need help and become part of the community effort.
If you need support– either errands, support over the phone, or otherwise – that your neighbours are not already seeing to, please do not hesitate to email , or contact one of the coordinators listed below, leaving a message if necessary, and they will do their best to put you in touch with those who can help.
